Building muscle on the Keto Diet: Is it possible?
When you follow the Keto Diet, you can’t eat many of the foods that are commonly used as muscle-building supplements. This is because many of these foods are high in carbohydrates, which is why they are not a feasible option on the Keto Diet. However, there are some natural and effective ways to build muscle on the Keto Diet. Though it will take dedication and perseverance, building muscle on the Keto Diet isn’t impossible.
Reducing your daily carbohydrate intake will help you lose weight more quickly and efficiently; however, that doesn’t mean that you cannot build muscle while staying with in the guidelines of the diet. If you have access to enough protein and other nutrients from fats and carbs that aren’t coming from sources like sugar or flour, then it is possible for you to build and maintain lean body mass on Keto.
