Zero calorie energy drinks usually contain
things that are not very good for you but they
will not kick you out of Ketosis. I have them
occasionally when I want something sweet.
However, I would not recommend these with
this program because you will be taking preworkout
and fat burner.
Fat does not make you fat. You get fat by
consuming excess calories. In order to lose fat
you must be in a calorie deficit. So if you are
on the Keto diet and in a calorie deficit then
you will lose fat even if your dietary fat intake is
high (assuming your metabolism is healthy).
Avocados are a fruit and are great for Keto
but most fruits are too high in carbs/sugar and
will kick you out of Ketosis. There is nothing
wrong with fruit; they just don’t fit into a Keto
diet. However, in moderation you can have
strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, cherry
tomatoes, blueberries, lemons, olives and
coconuts (yes they are all fruits).
There isn’t enough research to say if Keto
is suitable to do indefinitely. I have a friend who
has been doing Keto for over 10 years, she is
now over 50 with amazing health and looks 35.
Ketosis is a natural state and as we evolved we
went into and out of Ketosis based on the food
that was available. Most people will do Keto
for 6-24 weeks at a time before switching to a
more flexible diet. Many of them later return.
